Hers is a success story rooted in Dubai and branching out from Europe to the rest of the world. As the founder of Wanderlustours, she has turned travel into a way of life and built her own business around it. The company she established in Switzerland now inspires people globally. Traveling with her is not just about discovering new countries, but about witnessing the footprints of a life built with courage, determination, and passion.

1. How did the idea of founding Wanderlustours come about, and how did you turn that dream into reality?

Ever since I was six, I’ve felt the spark of wanderlust. I still remember my first trip — the vivid colors, unfamiliar scents, and the thrilling sense that the world was vast yet welcoming. That experience planted a seed that’s grown into a lifelong love of travel.

Over the years, I’ve explored more than 100 countries, diving into cultures, cuisines, and cities that changed me. Along the way, people began asking me to help plan their trips — friends, family, even acquaintances. I loved it. Crafting personal journeys felt like second nature, driven by passion, not profit.

That passion eventually led to Wanderlustours. It wasn’t just a business — it was the natural next step in a lifelong journey. Rooted in authenticity and real experience, Wanderlustours is about more than travel — it’s about feeling the world.

2. What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced while running your own business, and how did you overcome it?

One of the biggest challenges in building Wanderlustours was learning to trust myself. When I shifted from helping people for free to offering a paid service, imposter syndrome hit hard. I doubted if I was qualified enough or if turning my passion into a business would change how I felt about travel.

Suddenly, I had to juggle everything — finances, branding, logistics, marketing, and customer care — all while crafting unique travel experiences. It was overwhelming at times, especially when things went wrong or business was slow.

What kept me going was reconnecting with my “why.” This was never just about business — it was a calling. I leaned on my support system, allowed myself to learn, and celebrated every win: happy clients, glowing feedback, and those magical words — “trip of a lifetime.”

Confidence didn’t come overnight, but it grew. And while challenges still arise, I’ve learned that passion and authenticity always outweigh fear.

3. Which destination has impacted you the most so far, and why?

Travel has always been a way for me to recharge, explore, and feel alive — but some places have stirred something deeper.

  • Malta: I was drawn to the golden light, the timeless streets, and the relaxed Mediterranean rhythm that made every morning coffee feel sacred.

  • Mykonos: Beyond the party scene, it offered quiet corners, soul-stirring sunsets, and a pace that reminded me to breathe and be still.

  • Miami: With its vibrant culture, ocean breeze, and creative energy, it felt like a place where life wasn’t just happening — it was being celebrated.

These places made me realize that some destinations aren’t just meant for holidays — they invite you to slow down, connect, and stay a little longer.

4. What advice would you give to young women and aspiring entrepreneurs?

If I could give one piece of advice, it would be this: don’t wait for permission to go after what lights you up. Be persistent — even when it’s hard, even when the results are slow, even when people don’t understand your vision.

Stop worrying about what people think. The truth is, those who judge you are rarely the ones doing the work. Focus instead on building your dream, not defending it.

Surround yourself with the right people — especially in the travel space. Find communities that inspire and uplift you, where people share knowledge, celebrate your wins, and speak the same language of adventure and purpose.

And lastly, be your authentic self. In a world full of curated content and copycat businesses, your uniqueness is your superpower. The more real you are, the more your people — your clients, your tribe, your supporters — will find you.

5. How has travel changed the way you see yourself and the world?

Travel has completely transformed the way I see both the world and myself.

Being in unfamiliar places, surrounded by new languages, cultures, and ways of living, humbled me in the best way. It made me realize how much I didn’t know — and how much there is to learn beyond what we grow up with.

Travel taught me to be adaptable, open-hearted, and deeply curious. I’ve learned to find comfort in the unknown, to let go of control, and to trust myself in new environments.

It has also made me more compassionate — seeing how people live so differently, yet share the same hopes, joys, and struggles, has made me more connected to humanity as a whole.

In the process, I’ve discovered parts of myself I never knew existed — strength, resilience, vulnerability, and a sense of belonging in the most unexpected places. Travel didn’t just show me the world — it helped me understand who I am within it.

6. How can people book and experience travel with you?

I offer three unique ways to book and experience travel with me, depending on what you’re looking for:

  1. Personal Vacation Planning
For individual travelers or small groups, I offer one-on-one calls to understand your budget, travel goals, and the vibe you’re after — whether it’s adventure, relaxation, culture, or a mix of everything. I then create a fully personalized itinerary and handle every detail from arrival to departure, so you can just show up and enjoy the experience stress-free.

  2. Tours in Malta
If you’re visiting Malta, you can easily book my curated local tours — like the Mdina Walking Tour or Valletta Highlights — through GetYourGuide and Viator. These are perfect for travelers who want an insightful and well-paced experience of Malta’s rich history and charm.

  3. Girls Getaways
My absolute passion project — I curate and lead group trips for adventurous, like-minded women ready to explore exotic destinations together. These Girls Trips are all about connection, confidence, and fun. I plan everything — from unique stays to unforgettable activities — and travel with the group to make sure it’s smooth, empowering, and unforgettable.

Whether you’re planning a solo escape, exploring Malta, or joining a girls-only adventure, I’ve got you covered.
